What's Amazing

Our Philadelphia-based food innovation lab not only cracked the deliciousness code of making an awesome cream cheese from oats, but they managed to put a really nice savory twist on it with this flavor. If you love chives and you love onions and you love them together in stuff, then you’re definitely reading the right oatmilk company product webpage, because our super smart food scientists who made this flavor are also big fans of chive and onion flavor, so they made sure this one is so epic that if the chive and onion-iness here was a voice, it for sure wouldn’t be a whisper, it’d be, well, not quite a shout, but it’d be one like one of those loud and clear voices, like someone who can speak to a crowd and not need a microphone, which is pretty cool when you think about it because using a microphone can be annoying, like when you get up to the mic stand and you’re struggling to adjust it and then you get all that noise feedback and everyone has to cover their ears and this is starting to get away from us but what we’re trying to say is this flavor is very chive and onion-forward.

What might be less amazing

As you may recall from our Plain Cream Cheese webpage which you surely read every word of since we’re pretty sure that is what people do… we have added RSPO-certified Identity Preserved palm oil to our cream cheeses, which allows them to achieve a perfectly creamy texture that holds up to being spread on hot foods.

Because we take the use of palm oil very seriously, this webpage is pausing its regularly scheduled programming of friendly sarcasm to let you know that Oatly has committed to only sourcing RSPO-certified Identity Preserved palm oil. RSPO stands for The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, which is a global, multi-stakeholder initiative on certified sustainable palm oil products. Its principal objective is to promote the growth and use of sustainable palm oil through cooperation within the supply chain and open dialogue between its stakeholders. Certifications such as RSPO are designed to promote sustainable palm oil production and incorporate stringent environmental and social criteria. RSPO-IP products can be traced back to RSPO certified mills and plantations, and the entire supply chain is monitored by independent, RSPO-accredited auditors.

HOW DO WE MAKE OUR OATMILKS?

Our oat base is just oats and water. But it’s what we do with those oats and that water that makes Oatly so special.
