What's Amazing

Just like our original Oatgurt, this new and improved Oatgurt is a fully vegan, gluten-free yogurt alternative, made with live cultures for that classic yogurt tanginess. Only now, it’s got a way better, creamier, velvet-ier texture, which may or may not have been a direct answer to the following customer comment left by “Me” on May 26, 2022: “It’s liquid. Not sure how this got passed off as yogurt lol. You guys gotta reformulate this stuff.” As you may have noticed, this one is a bigger, almost-fully-recyclable container (everything but the seal), which is good if you want to share, or not share, or steal bites from your roommate’s container without them noticing. Or possibly a totally different scenario. We just make the Oatgurt, we don’t decide how you eat it.

What might be less amazing

Our product innovation team wanted to let you know that to get the super creamy texture of our new Oatgurt, it takes some saturated fat. Without it, it would have just been “regular creamy” instead of “super creamy,” and “super creamy” was definitely worth it. Also, like we mentioned above, the seal is not recyclable, but How2Recycle assigned the status of “widely recyclable” for the plastic cup and lid, which was cool of them.

Other

Try it in a smoothie. Better yet, swap it for dairy yogurt in all your recipes. Yeah, it totally swaps.

HOW DO WE MAKE OUR OATMILKS?

Our oat base is just oats and water. But it’s what we do with those oats and that water that makes Oatly so special.
